Castaway Island Resort Accommodations

Castaway offers sixty six spacious, traditionally thatched Fijian style bures (bungalows) with a choice of beach front, ocean view or island location. All bures feature one king size bed and most include two additional single beds in their configuration, with those bures comfortably sleeping up to four persons.

Each traditionally thatched bure features a high vaulted "tapa" lined ceiling with overhead fans. In most bures, sleeping and living quarters are separate with the emphasis being on privacy and comfort. All bures feature quality island style furnishings, fabrics and linen. Additionally a refrigerator together with tea and coffee making facilities are provided.

Castaway Island Resort Spa

The Castaway Spa staff are experienced and you will enjoy your Fiji massage in their treatment bure surrounded by tropical jungle and the sounds of ocean and birds in the background. Has soaking pool, rock showers and pool nearby.

Castaway Island Resort Activities

Land based activities are beach volleyball, table tennis, tennis, board games, books, and hiking. All free at Castaway Island. Free use of their champion size tennis court is also included.

A weekly meke (traditional dance) is performed and you will enjoy the exuberance and joy of it.

Water based activities - Swim in the free-form fresh water swimming pool with kids' pool. You have free use of all non motorized watersports equipment including catamarans, wind surfers, glass bottom boat, paddle boards and spy boards. Complimentary use of snorkeling equipment throughout the stay (with a refundable deposit) is available.

Have fun in the Castaway Swim competition. A lot of hoopla and fun among the guests and staff.

Scuba Diving with rental gear (or bring your own) are offered and scuba diving, scuba diving lessons and certification can be had as well.

Castaway Resort Cuisine & Dining

Dining in the Castaway Resort Restaurant is buffet style with lots of delicious food and friendly, helpful staff. Or the bar and grill serves fresh hot pizza made to order.

Friendly service and helpful staff make you feel at home and they really want you to have a great time. One thing about Castaway is it is kid friendly. There is a lot to do for kids and even the pool has a special section for tots.
