Qamea Resort’s Bures were designed and built in traditional Fijian style, with soaring 20 foot ceilings and hand polished local mahogany hardwood floors. BEACHFRONT BURES: Your own private cottage on the beach offers romantic hand crafted Bali four poster bed with high quality mattress and high thread count Egyptian linens. Sofa, cabinets, antique Fijian art, fully stocked mini bar, tea and French press coffee making facilities. Your beachfront deck has a cozy set of chairs and hammock. These are free standing and spaced nicely apart from each other. 

HONEYMOON BURES:  Two exquisite bures offer a romantic day bed beachfront (with privacy curtains) double hammock, and a unique bamboo enclosed Japanese style garden courtyard with sunken jacuzzi tub and outdoor shower. Absolute privacy and very exotic and romantic.  They are located at the very end of the Lagoon beach not far from the dining room.

PREMIUM VILLAS:  Located on the opposite end of the property (from the honeymoon bures) these ultra luxury,  1200 square feet villas are secluded, beachfront and offer spacious decks with private pool, outdoor shower. Plasma screen tv, and DVD player as well as a CD bose player in your villa.

Qamea Resort Activities- Endless

Water based activities for no charge  at Qamea include incredible swimming (in the free form pool or in the ocean), stellar snorkeling off the beach (Qamea is known to be a snorkelers paradise in Fiji- 3 incredible reefs right off the beach to explore)   hobie cat sailing, windsurfing, and sea canoeing. 

You can go on an amazing kayaking adventure at Qamea.  Take out a kayak and start heading towards either end of the beach, wrap around the corner and you'll discover unspoiled lagoons and beaches.  While kayaking look down and you'll see the most beautiful coral reefs ever!  ask for a packed lunch to take along so you can have your own romantic picnic.

Four guided Snorkel trips a week at Qamea for no extra charge  you'll discover some amazing reefs when you opt to go on a guided snorkel reef with the dive staff at Qamea.  a Fiji honeymoon is not complete without seeing the beautiful underwater scenery not far from Qamea.

Amazing Snorkeling off the beach  There are three separate snorkel reefs at Qamea to explore.  Every day you can snorkel off the beach at your own leisure and all the equipment is included- mask, fins, and snorkels !

Land based activities at no charge are croquet, volleyball with the staff 2x a week, hiking the many trails and seeing waterfalls, tropical flora and fauna, or visiting one of the local villages or even island hopping.   Bird watching is also a fun activity to try at Qamea, their is a unique Orange Dove that only lives on the island of Qamea. Bring your binaculars for a closer look. You just may get hooked on bird watching!

Free Traditional Fijian Village Visit -  one of the highlights of your trip to Qamea Fiji is a visit to one of the many villages on this spectacular island. A must do when you visit Qamea.  The smiling faces will forever stay imprinted in your mind

Sunday Church Service in the village-  a great cultural experience , Qamea will take you to church on Sunday so you can experience local Fijian life with the villagers on their most important day.  (no charge)

Free Scuba Lesson-  try it, you may like it.  The Qamea dive shop offers a free one time scuba lesson for all guests.  If you do want to learn more they offer a "Discover Scuba" course for $250FJ additional. 

Cooking Lessons- together you'll learn some great recipes and methods to take home with you from your honeymoon in Fiji  (no charge)

Scuba diving at Qamea Resort is available from their fully equipped scuba diving facility and the Qamea diving staff can introduce you to underwater adventures. Fiji is considered one of the top diving locations in the world with the largest variety of fish and coral anywhere.

Qamea Nightlife a Cultural Experience

Every night at Qamea starts with a fun cocktail party where all the guests are invited to join and mingle with each other.  You enjoy delicious passed appetizers, and the company of the management or owners of Qamea.  Afterwards begins dinner (at 7pm) and you can choose to dine alone, with others, or have a private beachside dinner in the gazebo or on the grassy seafront area just below the romantic palms.

Kava drinking and live music nightly -  try some Kava with the band boys while you listen to their beautiful Fijian music.  Join in if you are a muscian, or get up and dance if you feel like it. 

Cultural Nightime activities throughout the week include:  Traditional Kava Ceremonies,  Village Meke (an entire village comes in and entertains with songs, live music,  and traditional dances) 

Wine Tasting one evening per week -  try some new wine while you mingle with other guests and taste yummy paired appetizers.
